MTG CARD SCANNER
Identify Magic cards across sets and printings
Magic cards are frequently reprinted, and the same card name can appear in many sets with different art, frames, foils, languages, and market records. Solira helps narrow the result using visible card evidence.
01
Set identity matters
A card name alone is rarely enough for a confident Magic match. Compare the set symbol, collector number, frame, language, and foil treatment with the returned catalog fields.
02
Separate printing from condition
Printing identifies which version of a card you own; condition describes the physical copy. Both affect market value, but they should not be treated as the same attribute.
03
Double-faced and borderless cards
Scan the face with the clearest identifying information. Borderless, showcase, serialized, and double-faced cards may need extra review because multiple variants can share a name.
QUESTIONS
What collectors ask
Can Solira distinguish foil and non-foil MTG cards?
It may return printing information when available, but reflective images and catalog coverage can affect the result. Always verify manually.
Does Solira support every Magic set?
Coverage depends on the connected catalog and can change over time.
Is the displayed value for my card's condition?
The result may use a reference condition. Compare that condition with your physical card before using the estimate.
