CARD VALUE SCANNER

Check card value with the right context

A market number is useful only when it belongs to the correct card and variant. Solira connects visual identification with catalog pricing so you can review the match and understand what the estimate does—and does not—represent.

01

Start with an exact catalog record

The same character may appear across dozens of cards. Solira uses the set, collector number, rarity, and printing to find a likely record before presenting an estimate. Always compare those fields with the card in your hand.

02

Understand what changes value

Condition, centering, surface wear, language, foil treatment, edition, grading, marketplace fees, and local demand can all change the final transaction price.

  • Treat estimates as references, not guaranteed offers
  • Check the pricing timestamp and source
  • Verify the physical condition before buying or selling

03

Watch movement without overreacting

Short-term percentage changes can be distorted by low sales volume or a small starting price. Use movement as a signal to investigate, then compare current listings and completed sales on the marketplace you intend to use.

QUESTIONS

What collectors ask

Are Solira prices guaranteed sale prices?

No. They are informational market estimates and can differ from actual transactions.

Does the estimate include professional grading?

No. Unless clearly stated by a data source, estimates should not be interpreted as graded-card values.

Why can two copies of the same card have different values?

Condition, printing, language, edition, centering, and grading can create substantial differences.
